Connect, Create, and Contribute With the Family Council

The mission of Woodland School Family Council is to develop a closer connection between school and home by:

• Encouraging parent involvement
• Enhancing the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities
• Improving the environment at Woodland School by providing volunteer and financial support

Family Council has been around since the beginning of Woodland School over 25 years ago! This parent-driven group supports the students and staff of Woodland School by sponsoring numerous events throughout the year. You will find important dates below and on the Woodland School Google calendar.

The council meets five to six times a year, typically in the Commons (or the playground, if the weather is fine) at 3:45 PM. All parents of current Woodland School students are encouraged to attend meetings, and children are welcome to stay and play nearby. Join us as we ensure "uniquely Woodland" experiences for the Woodland School community.

The Woodland School Family Council maintains a Facebook page with updates on current events, meeting minutes, and parent discussions. Also, be sure to check the bulletin board in the school lobby for updates!
